NWSO presents: Musical Performances in Nature National Parks at Benaroya Goes Outdoors

For the past two years the Northwest Symphony Orchestra has partnered with Washington’s National Parks to celebrate “National Parks at Benaroya” Due to Covid it’s not possible this year to gather in person…but we can STILL celebrate music and our national parks with a special event…so we SHALL.

Northwest Symphony Orchestra presents “Nordic Nights”

Northwest Symphony Orchestra is pleased to announce the fourth concert in its 2012– 2013 season.  The April 27th concert, “Nordic Nights,” will include the world premiere of Clement Reid’s Northern Lights. Also on the program is Edward Grieg’s Concerto for Piano, which will be performed by soloist Yuka Sasaki. The concert will conclude with Symphony #1 by Jean Sibelius.

Northwest Symphony Orchestra, "Spotlight on the Orchestra" Concert

Northwest Symphony Orchestra is pleased to announce the third concert in its 2012– 2013 season. The March 16th concert, “Spotlight on the Orchestra,” will be presented at Holy Rosary Church in West Seattle, and includes Entry of the Gods into Valhalla, from Das Rheingold, one of the four operas that comprise Richard Wagner’s The Ring of the Nibelungen cycle. Also on the program will be Antonin Dvorak’s 8th Symphony and a selection of arias featuring soprano Cara Gabrielson.

Northwest Symphony's Valentine's Concert is this Friday

Northwest Symphony Orchestra announces the second concert of its 2012– 2013 season.  The Valentine’s concert includes the popular “Marriage of Figaro Overture” by Mozart, as well as Aaron Copland’s “Appalachian Spring Suite,” Samuel Barber’s “Concerto for Violin,” and rounds out the program with “BoundlessHorizons” by contemporary composer Chris Thomas.

NWSO benefit at the Columbia Tower

Wednesday, May 9th from 5:45pm until 8:00pm enjoy hors d'oeuvres, wine and the fabulous view from the 76th floor of the Columbia Tower at a benefit for the Northwest Symphony Orchestra.

Your financial support helps to continue all of the great work of the orchestra, including the performance of works by Northwest composers, several educational programs, and the excellent Composer-in-Residence program.
